CLUB OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the Club as set out in our Constitutron ispUbf￿ education In the art of Ilower
arranging and related subjects. wlthout distlnctlon of age, gender, disability both phys￿al
and mental, sexual orientation. nationality. ethnic identity, dass. marital status. political or
religious opinion, ill health. financial hardship or other disadvantage. within the Banbrtdge
and Craigavon areas, (hereaftercalled the.area of publicbenefrf..)
Thetrustees of SLPatrick's Fh)wer ArraNJing Club confirm thatthey have complied with
their duty under the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) regarding the Public Benefrt.
Toachieve this, the Club provides Opp￿tunty for allpeople. and arealways seekiThJwBys in
which theycan offerall members. tutotirwJ and general assistance to enable them to reach
their goals.

The Club will always treat their members with respect arKI ensure theyhave every

Arranging.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE PERIOD ENDING 31°AUGUST2023
(1) Thts year has been successful year. Many of ourmembership continue to fall
thin the clinicallyvulnerable or extremelyclinicalty vulnerable category. As a
resultthe Club has maintained Covid 19 Healih and Safety p¥cIr￿& which
detemined thatthe premises we usecould enough tables to safelytutor24
people.

membets gr¥ndchild to 80 kn Afiica's to reach English and help build a school
(5) We celebrated the Kings CoroDation on the 28 April WAth a tea party and demonstrdtion
on how to make a kings Crown
(6) Three Club outings V4Bre a￿anged throughoui the ￿ar. In O(knber 2022 to visit
McKnighYs garden to see aubjmn foliage. In Decemb8r 2022 we visited Coleman's
garden center. In June 2023 we visited the Secret Garden in DurKlonald. All outings
were follow￿ by bjrth in a local tsstaurant

The Club is run entirely by its members. M*hopaya membership fee.

Safeguarding Trust Members
St. Patrick's Flower Arranging Club Isopen to members of all ages and there arevulnerable
people within the current membership. Four members of the Club. have attended a
Safeguarding Trust seminar and havebeen checked by Access Nl. All four member5 have
been accepted and r￿1Ved Certificates acknowledging this. The Club declares thatwe
are satisfied thatwe have made the necessary checks required to safeguard all our
benef￿lanes.
Banking
The Club initLally used the Sanlander Bank. 21 Marketstreet, Lurgan, Crabavon. BT66 GAA
However, asour Club aims to seekfUrKIi￿ from sources such as Halifax Foundation for
Northem Ireland and TADA Rural Support Network In the coming year, It was agreed by the
Trustees thatwe should use Danske Bank. The ClubAccount has now beenchanged to the
Bank on the 20 Septeml*r 2017.
