August 2022.
CLUB OBJEcfivES
The purpose of the Club as set out in our Constltutlon Is public educatlon In the art of flower
afranglng and related subjects, wlthout dlstinctlon of age, Eender. disabillty both physlcal
and mental, sexual orlentstion, nationallty, ethnlc Identity, da55, marital status, political or
rell8lous oplnlon, 111 health, financial hardshlp or other dlsadvantage. wlthln the Banbrid8e
and Cralgavon areas, (hereafter called the.area of public benefiv.)
The trustees of St.PatricVs Flower Arranging Club confirm that they have complled with
their duty under the Charltles Att (Northern Ireland) regardlng the Publlc BenefiL
To achieve thls, the aub provides opportunlty for all people. and are always seeking ways in
whith they can offer all members. tutoring and general aSSistsn￿ to enable them to reach
thelr goals.
The Club has a membershlp payment. whlth enables people from the above Coundl areas
who are in financlal hardshlp. the opportunity to pay dass fees on a pay as you attend basls.
The key objectives this season was to return to classes Post pandemic currently and provide
a variety of dasses geared specifically towards Traditional Flower and Contemporay Flower
Arranging.
The sectlon below speclfylng achlevements In the past year dearly Identlfies the benefits
that people have attained during the reporting period.
The Club will always treat their members with respett and ensure they have every
opportunityto gain benefits such as skills, experien￿ and confidence in the art of Flower
Arranging.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE PERIOD ENDING 31" AUGUST 2022
(l) This year has been successful year. Following the Covid 19 pandemic the Club
reopened on Friday 16 September with a redU￿d membership of 24 persons.
Many of our membership fall within the dinically vulnerable or extremely dinically
vulnerable category. As a result the Culb opened following a Covld 19 Health and
Safety assessment whith determined that the premises we use could hold enough
tsble5 to safely tutor 24 people. This assessment was undertaken following the rules
ststed by the Churth of Ireland who's premises we use this also meant the dass

welfare of all our membef& This Induded wearing masks. hand sanitizer to be used
on and exit and tsking eath individuals temperature on entry. We seated one
person at elther end of eath tsble pJwrlng they took avay all materfats used In
paper to be rfsposed of at home and washed down all tsbles. handles and bathroLMn
froolftles used. All members felt very safe withln the environmenL

and last amended on 1° September 2017.
The aub Is run entirely by its members. who pay a membershlp fee.

Safeguarding Trust Members
SL Patricvs Flower Arrangln8 Club Is open to members of all ages and there are wlnerable
people wlthin the current membership. Four members of the aub. have attended a
Safe8uardingTrust semlnar and been checked by Access Nl. All four members have been
accepted and recelved Certificates acknowledglng thls. The Club dedares that we are
satlsfied that we have made the necessary thecks required to safeguard all our
benefiaaries.

The aub initially used the Santander BanK 21 Market streeL Lurgan. Cralgavon. wr66 6AA
However, as our Club alms to seek fundln8 from sources suth as Hallfax FoundatAon for
Northern Ireland and TADA Rural Support Network In the comin8 year. Itwas agreed by the
Trustees that we should use Danske Bank The Club Account has now been changed to the
Bank on the 20 September 2017.
