NIC 103304 TRUSTEES, ANNUAL REPORT th Year Ending 4 June 2024 The Management Committee {Trustees) present this Report and annexed financial statement for th the year ending 4 June 2024. The Trustees who served up until year end are listed herein. PURPOSE: To promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure-time activities in the interests of social welfare for the benefit of the general public in the Banbridge and Dromore areas and the environs of Co. Down without distinction of age, gender, sexual orientation ethnic identity, religious or political beliefs or nationality; and in particular educate and assist individuals within the area of benefit through the provision of Association Football facilities and other recreational activities. ACTIVITY: We currently operate several football teams for young people encompassing boys and girls aged from five years upwards and two teams for encompassing men aged from sixteen upwards. We provide facilities for those living in Dromore and the surrounding area for the playing of association football including physical training and health improvement. We also provide facilities non-sporting activities, training and workshops, functions and community events. PUBLIC BENEFIT: o promote participation in healthy recreation, particularly local inhabitants of Dromore ond its surrounding L7reas, without distinction of age, gender, sexual orient(7tion, ethnic identity, religious or political view5 or nationality by the provision of Association football and other recre(7tional activities. The public benefit from this purpose is the improvement of physic(71 and mental health levels of those who participate in football and other recreational activities provided by the Club. To advonce the physical ond non-physical education of the local inhabitants of Dromore ond surrounding areas through coc7ching activities ond providing facilities for Association football and other sports and recreational activities to develop their physict71, social and mentol capacity. The public benefit of this purpose is to increase physical skill levels of participants, such as running, jumping, coordin(7tion and non-physical skills such os teomwork. To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport and recreation to those local inh(7bit(7nts who have need for such facilities by reason of their poverty or social or economic circumstances. There is no harm flowing from the purposes. The beneficiarie5 are the local inhabitants of Dromore and its surrounding areas. There is no private benefit from our purposes the Club charges fees to cover running costs which are reasonable and transparent. We believe that, after reviewing our activity for the year past, the Club continues to achieve its stated public benefit.
FINANCIAL REVIEW: The Trustees report that total receipts amounted to £145595.43 and total payments amounted to £151855.58 giving a deficit of £6260.15 for the year past. The financial statement has been independently examined by David JG Bell, Solicitor. TRUSTEES, STATEMENT: This Report was prepared and approved by the Trustees. The Trustees confirm that insofar a5 they are aware there is no relevant information which has been omitted from this Report or which has not been reported to the independent examiner.
