## Activities

**Purposes:** The objects of the Company shall be the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the preservation of the natural environment, the promotion of the arts, and to protect health, for the benefit of the general public in Armagh City West (hereinafter called “the area of benefit”) and in particular:  a)	To provide or assist in providing facilities for education, recreation and leisure-time activities, in the interests of social welfare for people who have need of them as a result of their youth or social or economic circumstances in the area of benefit; b)	To design, organise and manage the delivery of appropriate programmes of vocational training and education for young people and adults suffering from the effects of unemployment; c)	To provide comfort and guidance by means of training and counselling to people in the area of benefit who are suffering from emotional distress as a result of their social or economic circumstances or living conditions.
