a) Advocate on behalf of Northern Ireland families with infants and in particular to promote the provision of high quality, evidence-based supportive health and social care services. b) Promote equal access to health services for families with infants. c) Promote the awareness of the importance of early childhood development among health professionals and other practitioners involved with early childhood by disseminating clinical and scientific knowledge, information and examples of best practice among these groups. d) Enhance the education of the public by raising their awareness and understanding of mental health issues affecting infants.
