The Augher playing Fields Association is registered as a charity with the Charity CommissionFor
Northern Ireland, charity number103253.
The principal objective of the Trustees is set out in the Augher Playing Fields Association's
Constitution, it's governing document. The Trustees have a full understanding of the requirement to
meet the criteria of their own Benefit statement, and to fulfil this requirement to provide Beneflt to
the public. This can be summarised as taking action, making decision5 and judgements, as reason
and prudence permits, to supply and make recreational space for the use of all in the community. to
help promote amateur sport and improved community relations. to reduce social isolation, and to
ensure there is no harmful effect from the p.rovision of the same.
The work of the Trustees this year has been to manage the upkeep of the Football pitch and
surrounding area to a satisfactory standard. To promote the continued and popular use of the
adjoinir¢g MUGA pitch, the Associatlon purchased a set of portable Steel MUGA goalposts to be used
by the communSty, and the increased numbers using the facillty, the continued use of the football
pitch and Rlverwalk meet the prlncipal objectives of th@ As50clatlon.
