The Augher Playing Fields Association is registered as a charity with the Charity CommissionFor
Northern Ireland, charity number103253.
The principal objective of the Trustees is set OLrt in the Augher Playing Fields Association's
Constitution, it's governing document. The Trustee5 have a full understanding of the requirement to
meet the criteria of their own Benefit Statement, and to fulfil this requirement to provide Benefit to
the public. Thi5 can be summarised as taking action, making decisions and judEements, as reason
and prudence permits, to supply and make recreational space for the use of all in the community, to
help promote amateur 5POrt and improved community relations, to reduce social isolation, and to
ensure there is no harmful effect from the provision of the same.
The work of the Trustees this year has been to manage the upkeep of the Football pitch and
surrounding area to a satisfactory Standard. To promote the continued and popular use of the
adjoining MUGA pitch, the Association purchased a set of portable steel MUGA goalposts to be used
by the community, and the increased numbers using the facility. the continued use of the footb311
pitch and Riverwalk meet the principal objectives of the Association.
