Statement of Trustees, Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the trustees, report and Ihè financlal statements in accordance
wlth the United Kingdom Accountlng Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting
Practice) and applicable law and regulations.
Charity law reqLtlres the trustees to prepare financial st8lements for eaGh financlal year. Under charlty
law the trustees must not approv& the financial statements unless they are 5at15fied that they glve a true
and fair view of the state of affairs of the Gharity and of its incoming resources and application of resources,
including it5 Income and expendlture, for that perlod. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees
are required to:

make judgments and estimates that are rèasonable and prudent;
State whether applicable UKAccountlng Standards have been followed, subject to any materlal

The trustees are ￿SPonsible for keeping adequate accountlng records that are sufficlent lo show and
explaln the charity's transacticns and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any lime the financlal posltlon
of the charitable company and enable them to ensure that the flnancial Statements comply wlth the
Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. They are a150 responslble for safeguardlng the 8ssets of th8
charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the preventlon and detection of fraud and other
Irregularltles.
