Benburb Memorial Pipe band also encourage people to have the opportunity to learn to play the pipes and drums and to be a part of the Band. New members are welcome in orderto keep up the pipe band tradition that has been established in Benburb and is well respected and cherished. Benbu rb Memorial Pipe Band actively promotes all Ulster Scots traditions and culture and in particular pipe band music Details of the Charites Constitution Benburb Memorial Pipe Band is a constituted group last amended October 2015 and provided to the Charwty Commission. The constitution outlines our purpose, management and membership (including membership rnlesl. Financial Review In compllance wlth our constltutlon and charitable requirements accounts of the finance5 were kept. reported and agreed at the AGM on 7 Ortober 2019 in an Annual Statement of Accounts. An Independent Examiners Report has also been provided. Administrative Details Benburb Memorial Pipe Band held its AGM on 7th October 2019. The Band Committee was elected at the AGM under the chairmanship of the Worshipful Master of Benburb LOL NO 4. Public Benefit Statement Declaration The publlc benefit from the activities of Benburb Memorial Pipe Band remalns the same and includes The enrichment of the cultural lives of the general public of Benburb and the surrounding area with pipe band music and musical performances. A standard of musicianship attained by members of the band though participation of tuition and practice organised by the band as well as feedback on the enjoyment and approval of the general public on listenin8 to public performance5. There are no prlvate benefits except some benefits that are Incldental such as the personal development of musical skills by individuals that can be used in hi8her educational attalnment at school in the Subject of music and private hire of Indivlduals for musical performances. These are incidental and necessary as each band member will need to acquire these musical ski115 to be able to paly with other members as a band. The band organised a parade in Benburb village with some 15 other ulster scots bands and watched by many members of the local community. Ber)burb Memorial Pipe Band also took part in a series of other public performances mainly by participating at other local parades with other ulster scots bands. Benburb Memorial Plpe Band provided people with the opportunity to learn to play pipes and drums and to be a part of the band by providing regular tuition and practice. New sets of pipes were acquired enhancing the standard of musicianship and overall sound/performance of the band.

Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act O state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Independent examiner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of lh8 Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the acLounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
