Foyle Women'$ Aid continued in the delivery ol excoeded targets despite ongolng challenges and this can be
altribuled to Ihe experience and commllmenl ol the slalf team here in FoySe. We experlenced a conlinulng
upwarcj Irgno In referrals. In tolal, 953 reteTrals warg rgcelve¢, 834 women were supporlecl during ihe y9ar,
7649 support 808slons took placo. 109 Women completod the JoLsrney lo Freedom ryogramme, 227 women
Were supported by oihgr agencies and 57 high-risk cases were T818rred 10 MARAC. Thls work was all
achieved desplte very challpnging ciicumstances on Ihe ground where il was dilficult to access stalulory
services support teams due io home working and staff shortages,

We were dellghted to have flnally opened The Family Justlce Centre One Sale Place in September 2022 thls
centre Is the tirsi of ils kind in the UK and Iraland, The Family Conire and the follow up developments will
rnprove th8 way w8 deliver servlces lo vlctirns and gurvlvors with Ihe volces of women and children at the
heart of whal we do. The launch was a gr8al success celebrated on the day wlth a rang8 ol promlnent
leaders within th9 legal and jUSlS¢e professions, This was a great day lor all the team in Foyle and Ihe
Culmlnalion ol years of hard work.

2022-23 w88 a busy year far all the services within the Creche and POD15.
The creche returned to operating tlve days a week, post COVID, oflerlno up 10 15 childcare places per day.
These se8sions are all child led, recognislng the trauma that children wilhln our servlc8s have been Impacted
by. The newly developed sensory room Is widely utlllsed and a much-loved space w5th.ln Ihe centre lor all
ages.
76 new raferrals were rec9Iv8d and actioned lor children and young people wllh 101 children and young
people belng supported. 312 direcl sessions look placo al the POD. We dellveied 80 Kids Out toy packs al
Christrnas and Easter, 30 children completed the Helplng Handg Program on site at POD15. We provided

12 Slay and Play sessions wilh their childT&n and 6 well baby Clinics wer8 facililated by ojjr attached Health

Foyle Women's Ald has partnered wilh Soulhall Black Sisters and the Home off￿6. again Ihls year, to
provlde support lor 50 vlciims of domestic abuse who have no recourse lo public Ivnds. The piolè¢i provldes
support lor Black, Aslan and Minority Elhnlc IBAMEI migrant vl¢limslsurvivors ol domestic abuse who have
no recourse to public funds or houslng. They receive 12 weeks rent and £40 a week living expenses whSle
they are supporled lo oblaln housing.. olher eligible assistance and immlgralion advice, Foyle Women's Aid
manages this regional piojecl in Northern Ireland and we are hopalul that that the data collected will help lo
inlorm change and Ihal the deci5i0n.rnakers at government level wlll Implement change¥ so these vulnerable
VIGtims Gan avall ol the same support as other vlctims in Norlhern Ireland.

Dress for Success.,
It has been another busy year for Dress for Success Northern Irèland. We hav8 dèveloped sever81
partnerships with local partners, Includlng, schools, ¢Drporales and other organisalions,
We have supported and empowered 125 women this year via our Dr8s3 for Success setvices. including.
interview, employment and court suilng's, career c8nlre support and particlpallon on our programrnes. In
S8plemb8r 2022 we received an exlension fund from the Department lor Communities und8r Phase l ol Ihe
Devalnpino Woman in the Communlly ProofAmme. whieh pr•vioiisly fiindèd ihg tlrst cohort ol Transit
Forward. We hglc1 a locus group wilh PTovSous participants ano $ubsaqugnlly ¢gllverg¢J volunlegi tralnlng wlth
some parental support and wellbeing activities incorporated. The trainlng was compleled in March 2023, this
feedback was ¥hared by Iwo ol Ihe pwiicipanls.

In partnership with Alchemy, NWRC, UU, Flrsl Souice, and Fujitsu we delivered a Vocational Skills Day for
Sl 81igid's Colleg6 in October, Atlendad by a gfOUP ol A Level pupils, wo dolivored a prosantation on 'How io
Make a Good Flrst Impresslon,. pupils w8r8 challenged In thelr groups lo dress a mannequin. It was a fun,
int8ractlve sesslon and Fulilsu have invlled us 10 support a slmilar programme runnlng in St Cecllla's in June
2023.
We were successlul In applylng lo the Allslale Foundatlon for fundlng lo support the development of Dress
lor Success and future delivery ol TransSt Forward in the Northwest and Bellasl. In November 2022 w&
teamed LSP wilh the Zero Waslo Hub and Little Footprlnts, lo deliver a Pop-up Closel soclal avenl for our
current cllents, the Volces, volunteers and refugees - 'Threads ol Hope,, The évening was almed at bringlng

From Jan - March 2023 wg delivered Transit Forward to a second cohort ot women, lunded by Training tor
Women Network Tampon Tax lund. 13 wom8n completed the prograinrnè all ol whom ware current or
closed clients ol Foyle Women's Aid. The feedback was very posiliv6, and Ihe women reported a ioori1.

We were delighted to work wilh Cau8ew4y and Mid Ulgler Women'8 Aid to devalop a bespoke employablllly
programme as parl ol Ihelr Star Fish Programme. Weekly sessions were delivered over 8 weeks Iocusing on

Foyle Women's Aid has established a risk managemant process, which wlll ensure that the Ofoanlsalion
