The Charities Objects are specifically restricted to the following for the benefit of the public: 3.1.1 To advance education by promoting and increasing awareness of social enterprises through supporting the public to better understand their value and social impact and encouraging their growth and development for the public good; and by promoting the principles and values of the social economy in Northern Ireland by providing support and advice to people developing social enterprises including those helping disadvantaged members of the community; 3.1.2 To promote the advancement of citizenship and community development and engagement through regeneration and social investment into communities; 3.1.3 To advance education addressing gaps in the knowledge and understanding of the public about social enterprise in Northern Ireland, the rest of the United Kingdom and in Europe.
