- Weekly Band Practice; and 

- Piping and Drumming Tuition (Ulster-Scots Agency funded). 

## **Financial Summary** 

- Income for 2022 = £6,089.91[1] ; 

- Expenditure for 2022 = £6,920.51[2] ; 

- Net loss for 2022 = £110.60[3] ; 

- £1,439.51 spent on uniform & instruments/accessories during 2022; and 

- Balance at end of 2022 = £20,191.31[4] . 

## **General Comments** 

- Membership remained steady with number of new learners in 2022; 

- Expenditure on instruments & uniforms during 2022 was lower compared to previous years due to purchase of additional drums; and 

- Continued to seek grants to ensure continuing growth and development of the band so that it can continue to provide a public benefit.

The public benefits continue to be the following and are achieved by the various activities outlined above.

- BY PROMOTING INTEREST IN THE HISTORY, CULTURE AND MUSICAL HERITAGE OF PIPE BAND TRADITIONS WITHIN DRUMLOUGH, ITS SURROUNDING TOWNLANDS, NORTHERN IRELAND AND BEYOND. 

## **THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION** 

- TO EDUCATE AND ENCOURAGE PERSONS OF ALL AGES, SEXES AND ABILITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR INSTRUMENTAL SKILLS AND TALENTS THROUGH TUITION IN THE INSTRUMENTS AND IN THE RELATED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES.
