In common with all audits under ISAS (UK), we are also required to perform specific procedures to respond to the risk of management override. We also obtained an understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to the charity and considered that the most significant are the Companies Act 2006, SORP 2019 (FRS 102) and Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. We also: Identify and assess the risks of material misstatement of the financial statements, whether due to fraud or error. design and perfomi audit procedures responsive to those risks, and obtain audit evidence that is suffirient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion. The risk of not detecting a material misstatement resulting from fraud is higher than for one resulting from error, as fraud may involve collusion, forgery, intentional omissions, misrepresentations, or the override of internal control. If we conclude that a Inaterial uncertainty exists, we are required to draw attention in our auditor's report to the related disclosures in the financial statements or, if such disclosures are inadequate, to modify our opinion.
