Our Lady's Past Pupils & Parents Association Our Lady's Past Pupils & Parent Association Annual General Meeting Report th Wednesday 29 November 2023 th (Previous AGM 10 Jan 2023) Members to the association can be: past pupils, parents, guardians or carers of any pupil currently attending the school plus teaching and non-teaching staff currently employed by the school. The purpose is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which Support the school and advance the education of the pupils. As a committee, we: Help to build relationships with the local community and help the school to play its role within the local community. Pursue and support social opportunities for staff and parents to meet.
Raise funds for equipment and services to support the school and advance the education of the pupils. Manage the allocation of those funds appropriately. Engage in activities to support the school in building its sustainability in terms of prospective enrolments. Support the development of individual pupils in particular endeavours through the PPU&PA Awards. There was no Comfort Fund paid out in this year but It was agreed it need5 to be paid out- £500 2022/23 Pupil Comfort Fund £500 Future Events 2024 Sporting Panel Interview evening- 29th February 2024 OLS PP&PA Dinner Dance Canal Court- 21"June 2024
Actions l. Ensure accounts are submitted to the Charity Commission for 2022/23. 2. Independent person (Keith Quigley) to undertake examination of the association's accounts. 3. Comfort fund to be paid out to school.
