## **VENUE: Ahoghill District Hall, Galgorm Road , Ahoghill** 

**The programme of events planned for the year 2024-2025**

|||Following the Coronation Event in May 2023, it was decided to move to another<br>venue where the meeting could be held on the ground floor. This was due to the<br>increase in the number of members who either had difficulties with stairs or could<br>no longer climb stairs.<br>The District Hall in Ahoghill had a ground floor room which could accommodate the<br>numbers in our group and arrangements were made to use it for the three meetings<br>planned for the 2024-2025 session<br>Meetings are from 1:00pm and lunch is provided before the meeting.<br>It has again been difficult to arrange speakers for afternoon sessions.|





|6/12/24|Christmas<br>Party|A Christmas Party was held on 16/12/24 at 1:00pm with an attendance of 35 people.<br>The venue was very suitable as one of the members is now in a wheelchair The food<br>was served at tables and everyone enjoyed the Christmas food offered.|

|7/2/25|Soup Lunch|A Soup lunch was held on 7/2/25 at 1:00pm with an attendance of 35 people.<br>Again the venue was very suitable. Food was served at tables and everyone was very<br>complementary about it.  John Porter provided musical entertainment.|
|4/3/35|Salad Lunch|A Salad lunch was held on 4/3/25 at 1:00pm with an attendance of 30 people.<br>Very positive feedback was received from the participants.|
