**Purposes:** The Society is established to:  ? promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the MOYASSET, MONEYDOLLOG, KILLANE , DREEN, Craignageeragh, Cardonaghy, Glenhugh, Corbally, Ballyconnelly, Loan, Drumrankin, Garvaghy and Drumraw area and its environs (hereinafter described as “the area of benefit&quot;) without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion. It will so do by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of the social welfare, education, recreation or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;  ? to establish a Community Development Initiative and to co-operate with other relevant organisations in the promotion of activities by the Society and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects.  ? to advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.
