The public benefits continue to be the following and are achieved by the various activities outlined above.
THE ADVANCEMENT OF CITIZENSHIP OR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:
- THE DIRECT BENEFITS WHICH FLOW FROM THIS PURPOSE INCLUDE GIVING RESIDENTS A MEETING PLACE AND FACILITIES TO GET TOGETHER WITH OTHERS. THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN AND REDUCE SOCIAL ISOLATION IN OUR RURAL COMMUNITY AND BUILD COMMUNITY CAPACITY, SPIRIT, COHESION AND GOOD RELATIONS.
THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION:
- THE DIRECT BENEFITS WHICH FLOW FROM THIS PURPOSE INCLUDE KEEPING PEOPLE INFORMED AND PROVIDING PEOPLE WITH THE OPPORTUNITIES TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES WITH REGARDS TO THEIR LIVES AND WIDEN THEIR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IN VARIOUS AREAS. THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF INTELLECTUAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPABILITIES PROVIDE VALUE TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND SOCIETY AS A WHOLE IN TERMS OF HEALTH AND WELLBEING. THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF LIFELONG LEARNING FOR ALL AGE GROUPS WHICH HAS IN SOME CASES IMPROVED CHANCES OF EMPLOYABILITY THROUGH ACCESS TO LECTURES AND FURTHER EDUCATION CLASSES INCLUDING CRAFTS AND HOBBIES.
OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES:
- THE DIRECT BENEFITS WHICH FLOW FROM THIS PURPOSE INCLUDE THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, EDUCATION, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE USERS AND THE INHABITANTS IN OUR RURAL COMMUNITY.
