## Activities

**Purposes:** 1. Encourage the development of instrumental skills by providing tuition in the flute/drum and the related competencies to persons of all ages, sexes and abilities within Garryduff and surrounding areas.  2. Promote interest in Flute Band musical traditions to all people within Garryduff and surrounding areas.  3. Preserve the existing repertoire and develop the genre of Flute Band music to encourage its continued enjoyment and acceptance by all people within Garryduff and surrounding areas.  4. Promote the Ulster-Scots tradition, culture and history through education to all members of the Band and people within Garryduff and surrounding areas.
