ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE

point of need. Thc dii'ect bencfit of partieipaiion in Church life includes the cnjoymcnt of public woyship and

educational outcomes through the Chui'ch's minigty of teaching.

Th¢ Charity Trnstees havc fulfilled their responsibilities in accordance with the Charity Collunission's statutory
guidance on Public Benefit. Throughoui the year, regular worship. coinmunity outreach, and a variety of social
and fimdraising activitics havc supportcd our commitment to delivering Public B¢n¢fil.

Anglican tradition. Tliis is achieved throu￿ a vari¢ty of worbhip.%tylef, includin￿ our two weekly services
10am contemporary styl¢ in¢luding Lhildi'¢n gtoups and I1.30am traditionat SLYviees, thei'e is tea & coffee
betwccn th¢5¢ services to cnable connection across all who attend. Ther¢ is also a wee￿Y Midweck
Communiort service and a twice monthly life group. All of thegE services offer space for worsl)ip, growth in
relationship with Jcsu8 and building church community.
Our ministy is ￿rther supported by a rang¢ of comtnunity-focused activities sueh as Church lunLhes, Mothers
Union. and our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Scasonal Service% and events include H2rveqÉ, Remembrance Sunday.
Caiol Sei'Yi¢¢s, Easter Services, and a wcekly Coffcc MoiTring following th¢ midweek servicc.
Childrcn and young people are served through Sunday servi¢¢s, a weekly Sunday Club and confirn￿ti0n
pj'cpai'ation. In addition, oui. partneiship with the Scoutg and Gill Guides enl)ances oui. provision for youth and
childrcn's ministry.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
Thc freewill and I￿6¢ offerings which are r¢wrted in the General Accoullt for 2025 arc consisieni with (hose
reported in 2024. The General Account closing balanee at the elld of the year was £54,383 which was a
d¢crease on th¢ pi.eviol￿ year of £4.213.
The financial accounts of Il)e parisli also include two sn7aller accounts which al'e the Building FurEd and Choir
Accounts. These accounts are set aside for tlie maintenance of th¢ chui'ch and the operation ul th¢ choir
rcspectively. The choir account was closed during 2023.
GOTNG CONCERN
The ttijstees hav¢ reviewed the finances for the y¢ar ￿head and dre satisfied that there ale adequate funds in
pla¢¢ io ensure tl)at the Parisl) can continue its aetivitics and the finallcial statements for th¢ year endcd
31" Deccmber 2025 can be signed off ag a going ¢on¢em.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing Document Consiltution of the Charity
Chapt¢r Ill of the Constitution of the Church of li'¢land govcrns Parishes and Parochial Organisation. The Sel¢ct
Vestry mcmbers are the Chari¢y Trustces.
Recyuitment and Appointment of Select Vestry (Trustees)
All membets of the Chuirh of Ireland who are over the ag¢ of18 and are either resident within the parish or live
elsewI￿re but havc been aceu5tomed members of thc congr¢gation foi. at least thr¢c montlis, may register as
membcrs of thc gencral vestry of the parish, allowing diein to attend and vote at tncctings of the general vestry
and ￿ stand for ¢l¢ction to th¢ seleei vestry.
Mectings of the general vestsy arc nornially hcld oncc a Yel￿ (commonly known a6 'tthe Eastcr Vestry.). The
Select Vcbtry is electcd as part of this General Vestry mceting. Tlie Select Vestry will hold th¢ir position8 for 2
period of on¢ ycar. S¢lcGt Veslry members may bc re-clected anftually and thei'e is no limit Oll the number of
terms which inay b6.%¢rved.
Pay and remuneration
The R¢v. Hart received a stipend in accordanc¢ wilh figures approved by the General Synod of the Church of
Ireland.
Atty privatc benefit arising out of th¢ fulfjlment of our Christian ministry or to lay staff is cssential to the
