Treasurers Report The Financial report independently examined was presented showing income £16,223- 00 Expenditure of £13.502-00 Itwas proposed byGeorge Douds seconded bysam Forsythe report be accepted unanimousLy agreed. The Annual Report of the Trustees was presented and adopted Proposed by David McAuley seconded bystephen Anderson and agreed. Main Activities duringthe year Craft instruction classes continued duringthe yearwith an average of fiftywomen attending. Indoor bowling practice ran from October to April an average of twenty people maL8 8nd femalewere involved. Special attention duringthe yearwas given to indoor bowling instruction to fiLla gap Left bythe cessation of a number of bowling clubs due to Covid 19 pandemic. Generous financial assistanceforthis projectwas given by TheAllen Lane Foundation. Support duringtheyear was given to three 8m8teur musicgroups for trainingyoung musicians. Support duringtheyearwas given to Motor Neuron Disease This was provided by ladies organising Bric a Brac sales forthe special purpose. Training Six trustees were involved in training bythe Fire and Rescue SeNice reg8rding fire safetymatters Assistancewas also given bythe Local Council Enviornmental Health 8ns Safety Officer Upgrading rega rding Child and Vulnerable Adults was provided by CountyAntrim Grand Orange Lodge. Futuré Plans To continue with craft cLasses and indoor bowling practice to provide a number of Lectures from Police Crime Prevention Officer regarding Home Safety and online and telephone fraud Special attention to be given to older people considered vulnerable Three trips have been planned to places of interest again encouraging physical exercise. To update and encourage a carscheme to 8ddress risingfuel costs and enviornmental issues. Continueto support younger people engaged in music practice PubLic benefit The activities during the year have involved peopLe from diverse cultures and backgrounds which in linewith thegroups good relations policy Particular attention has been given to people living in rural isolation orfrom difficultfamily backgrounds with limited access to pubLictransport or HeaLth Care Facilities, Learning new skills has increased confidence and any items produced have been don8ted to Local ch8ritie8 which gives a sense of purpose Most activities organised by ourgroup are not availabla anywhere else in the 8rea and a 18rge number ot people taking partare doing so forthe firsttime in organised group activities EdgarAitcheson
