Independent examiner's report to the charity trustees of The Lincoln Courts Youth & Community Association I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2025, which are set out on pages I to 7. Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charitie5 Act follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under settion 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. My role Is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe: l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act 4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination and have no concerns in respect of the matters (l) to (4) listed above and, in connection with following the Directions of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, I have found no matters that require drawing to your attention. Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2025 The Trustees of The Lincoln Courts Youth & Community A550ciation are pleased to present their report for the year ended 31 March 2025. Purposes of the Charity The Association is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Lincoln Courts, Brigade and Rossdowney areas of Londonderry in Northern Ireland I hereinafter called the "area of benef it") without distinction of age, gender, sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for the recreation of other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants Main Activlties to further the Charlty's purposes for the publlc benefit Lincoln Court5 Youth & Community Association manage a purpose-built local authority community centre within the Lincoln Courts estate. Our group is a grass-roots community group set up to try and improve the life for the residents within the area and the surrounding areas. The main activities of our group include running the youth club which is run 5 days a week for 3 different age groups, up to eighteen years old. Activities also include the Senior Citizens luncheon club, the Parent & Toddlers group, older peoples programme and the Women's group. We try to encourage the older residents to participate in various activities within the community. There are also a number of clinics available which include Welfare rights, Housing Executive and other relevant statutory bodies, The main focus of our activities has been through the youth club which has reached out to all young people within the estate ancf the surrounding areas to provide them with new opportunities and experiences, to divert them from the ongoing temptation to get involved with anti-social behaviour. Maln Achievements in the year Lincoln Courts Youth & Community Association ILCYCA) have delivered a wide range of programmes and activities for residents over the course of the past year. We have also been proactive in providing hot meals, food parcels, fuel vouchers and general asS15tance to all elderly and vulnerable people wlthin the Llncoln Courts and surrounding areas. Since the relaxation of Covid regulations LCYCA have provided the following artivities to the following groups.. As at 31 March 2025 the Charity had no funds in material deficit The Charity was formed on 30 December 1979, and is governed by its Constitution dated at that time. No funds are held by the charity as a custodian trustee Trustee Selection and Management The Charity is managed by an Executive Committee which consists of all the appointed trustees, and the selection of any new Trustees is dealt with by that Committee.
