**Purposes:** Promote the benefit of the people of the rural areas of Pomeroy and Donaghmore villages and surrounding hinterland within the council areas of Cookstown and Dungannon (hereinafter described as the “area of benefit”) without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
