About the Association
larrickfergus Grammar School Parents’ Association comprises parents and staff who convene regularly to organise fundraising events in support of the school and to enhance the educational experience of its pupils.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the Association is to advance the education of pupils at the school, particularly by:

e Developing effective relationships between staff, parents. and others associated with the school;

- Engaging in activities or providing facilities and equipment which support the school ano further the education of the pupils.
Annual Activities and Fundraising
Ouring the financial year ending 30" June 2025, the Association organised a range or activities including a school disco, provision of AQE selection boxes, a table quiz, an Easter Raffle, serving refreshments at school event and providing information boards at year 8 induction. Members also ralsed funds through the easy fundraising website and Paypal donations. In addition to generating funds, these activities helped to foster and strengthen relationships within the school community. The total funds raised from these activities amounted to £2,248.70, while expenses for the year totalled £233.53,
Financial Contributions
Throughout the year, the Association provided funding to Carrickfergus Grammar Schooi totalling £2,035.26. This support included a donation for prize giving to purchase book tokens. the provision of AQE selection boxes, supplies for the open night, and a general donation to the school.
Financial Position
At the start of the financial year, the Association's assets stood at £787.80. Over the course of the year, £2,248.71 was raised, with total expenses amounting to £257.60. A donation of £2,.035.26 was made to the schoo. As of 30" June 2025, the Association held £597.75 in bank accounts and £145.90 in cash. Governance ise trustees have adhered to the Charitv Commission's Public Benefit Requirement statutory guidance. The Association is governed by a constitution dated 30" September ; hs 2015. According to this constitution, trustees of the Parents' Association are appointed by the members at the Annual General Meeting.
