Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association is made up of parents and staff who meet on a regular basis to organise fundraising activities to support the school and advance the education of the pupils. The purpose of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school,. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. Our activities during the year ended 30th June 2023, school disco, AQE selection boxes, table quiz, and spring fair. Our members also raised funds through easy fundraising website. As well as raising funds, these activities also continued to build and strengthen relationships across the school community. During the year, monies raised by fundraising activities amounted to £3,577 , with expenses totalling £753.45. During the year, we provided funding to Carrickfergus Grammar School of £2826.75. This included prize giving donation, AQE selection box and general donation to the school. At the start of the financial year our assets amounted to £815.78 During the year we raised £3,577, incurred total expenses of £778.24 and donated to the school £2,826.75. At 30th June 2024, Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association held £684.64 in bank accounts and £102.80 in cash. The trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public benefit requirement statutory guidance. Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association is governed by a constitution dated 30th September 2015. In line with this document, trustees of CGS Parents, Association are appointed by the members at the Annual General Meeting.
