Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association is made up of parents and staff who meet on a
regular basis to organise fundraising activities to support the school and advance the education of
the pupils.
The purpose of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:
Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the
school;
Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and
advance the education of the pupils.

Our activities during the year ended 30 June 2023, school disco, AQE selection boxes, rugby
tournament, spring fair, music society grant. Our members also raised funds through easy funding
webslte. As well as raising funds, these activities also continued to build a nd strengthen
relationshlps across the school community. During the year, monies raised by fundraislng activltles
amounted to £4648, £1857.
During the year, we provided funding to Carrickfergus Grammar School of £6295.00. This included
prize giving donation, snack shacks x2 purchased, AQE selection boxes and choir trip.
At the start of the financial year our assets amounted to £4347. During the year we raised £4647,
incurred total expenses of £1857 and donated to the school £6295.

At 30 June 2023, Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association held £671in bank accounts
and £145 in cash.
The trustees have had regard to the Commission's public benefit requirement statutory guidance.

Carrickfergus Grammar School Parents, Association is governed by a constitution dated 30
September 2015. In line with this document, trustees of CGS Parents, Association are appointed by
the members at the Annual General Meeting.
