TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT for Cashel Senior Citizens Club for the year ended 3110812023 The trustees present their Trustees, Annual Report prepared in accordance with Charities SORP (effective January 2015) and the independently examined statements for the year ended 3110812023 Structure, Governance and Management Cashel Senior Citizens Club is governed by its Constitution that was adopted on 12th January 2005. The trustees at the date of this report and those who served during the financial year together with the dates of any changes are set out are listed below. Fermanagh BT93 5BT Objectives and Activities Objectives The club is established for the advancement of education and proteclion of health among older people aged 50 or over and to relieve poverty in Cashel and its environs (hereinafter called the 'area of benefit,) and in particular: (i) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people. (li) raise awareness among the general public of the needs and eXperIenS of older people in the area of benefit. Key Activities in this Year Cashel Senior Citizens Club have about 10 members who meet regularly for ten months of the year mainly at Cashel Community Centre and participate in a range of educational, social, and recreational activities. Examples of activities have included; New Age Curling, Boccia, Amchair Exercises, Information Talks, Reminiscen, Tea Dances, Easter Party, Outings to Theatre, Shopping Trips, Museum Tours. The Club also regularly visit other Senior Citizens Clubs and take part in collective activities organized by other bodies such as South West Age Partnership. The club also host members of other Club's at events in Cashel.
Cashel Senior Citizens Club Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northem Ireland's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our objectives and in planning our future activities to ensure that these achieve the association's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries. Financial Review Review of Business Cashel Senior Citizens Club is non-profit making with a bank balance at 3110812023 of 1924.25 The trustees continue to manage reSoUrS in an efficient and sustainable manner. Reserves Policy Cashel Senior Citizens Club have a Reserves Policy, which requires that reserves are built or maintained at a level which ensures that the organisations core activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the organisations known liabilities will be paid should the organisation cease to trade. Future Plans Cashel Senior Citizens Club plan to continue to focus on maintaining the high standards of service to our beneficiaries. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES for the year ended 3110812023 The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with all appropriate regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. In so far as the trustees are aware: there is no relevant infonnation (information needed by the charity's independent examiner in connection with preparing the independent examiners report) of which the charty's independent examiner is unaware, and the trustees have taken all the steps that they ought to have taken to make themselves aware of any relevant independent examiner information and to establish that the charity's independent examiner is aware of that information.
