PURPOSES
The Assoclatlon is established .
(a)To promote a local educational resource;
Ib)To promote and preserve the culture and herltage of local people, including Ulster-scots;
Ic) To prornote cultural confidence and civlc pride, bolster morale of the community* and harness
the abilities of local people in particular those who reside in the Bush Community area,
regardless of a8e, sex, race, political.reli8ious or other oplnlon.
BENEFICIARIES
The charivs beneficiaries are primarily the people Ilvlng In and around the Bush area of Dungannon
South Tyrone within Mid Ulster District.
AcfiviTIES
Things are slowly Betting back to a normal timetable following CovSd.
We received an extra grant from the councll enabling us to update and increase all of our Chrlstmas
decorations.
The tree switch on was again a great success with many new families that have recently moved into
the area attending and also joining in the Carol singing.
Sorne of our members made up teams and took part in a local table quiz (always a great night of fun
and learning I
The local councillor keeps in touch regularly to keep us informed of upcoming events and also
notifications of arry grants opening up.

HOW MAIN A
VITIES HAVE BENEFITED BENEFICIARIES
There has bee
a big increase in the number of young people supportin8 this event.

A lot of these young people are in the local flute band and spent a lot of their practice time learning
Christmas carols so that they could also play music around the tree switch on.
So nice to see such a range of age groups taking part in this.
Advertisement of this event in local paper and social media was an important talking polnt for the
residents.
Senior residents again were 50 grateful for the friendship and support they ￿ceiVed from the group
members.

FINANCIAL POSITION AT THE END OF THE YEAR: The organisation remains in a stron8 financial
Position with a healthy balance and cash flow.
OUTSTANDING DEBTS OR LIABILITIES: There were no outstanding debts or liabilities.
RESERVES POLICY: The group ensures adequate funds are in place to continue operating on an
ongoing basis.
FUNDS IN MATERIAL DEFICIT & STEPS TAKEN TO MITIGATE: There were no funds in material deficit.
FINANCIAL MITIGATION: The Trustees ensure the or8anisation's finances were managed prudently
and on an ongoing basis.
FUNDS HELD BY THE CHARITY AS A CUSTODIAN TRUSTEE: None- Not applicable.
RESTRicfioNS ON WHO CAN BENEFIT
There are no restrictions on who can benefit.
We do not charge any fees.
There are no charges to access any serlices.
There are small charges to access fundraising events.
There are no restrictions based on personal characteristics.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The direct beneffts which flow from this purpose Include . education,traln5ng,health and well being
outcomes, improved community relations and reduced levels of stress,anxiety and social
isolation,through the promotion of culture,arts, heritage and Ulster Scots language,music and
dance,recreation,education and training.
These benefits are made known through the feedback from attendees at our events via evaluation
forms, surveys, verbal feedback and evaluation of activities.
There Is no harni anticipated from this purpose.
The charit￿$ beneficiaries are prlmarlly the inhabitants of the Bush village and its surrounding
environs within our Council area.
Our own trustees receive information . services and actlvtties in the same way 35 Other beneflclaries,
and are assigned support, information and services in the same way.

There is no private benefit to any individual.

No harm has flowed from any of our Purposes.
