PURPOSES
The Association is established
(a)To promote a local educational ￿$OUrCe.
Ib)To prornote and preserie the culture and heritage of local people, including Ulster-scots;
Ic) To promote cultural confidence and civic pride, bolster morale of the community, and harness
the abilities of local people in particular those who reside in the Bush Community area,
regardless of age, sex, race, political,reli8ious or other opinion.
BENEFICIARIES
The charivs beneficiaries are primarily the people living in and around the Bush area of Dungannon
South Tyrone within Mid Ulster Distrirt.
ACTIVITIES
The activities have aBain been very limited this year because of Covid 19
Hopefully members of the community are gradually gaining confidence to mlngle and meet.
The Jubilee was celebrated with a joint tea party with a local ladies group.
A few committee meetings to sort accounts and prepare for the annual Tree switch on .
The numbers attending the switch on wa5 double the previous year.
Again our terrific Santa proved very popular .
Committee members continue to check on the elderty in the area.
ACHIEVEMENTS
HOW MA114 ACflVITIES HAVE BENEFITED BENEFICIARIES
This year has been totalty different because of lockdowns
The group were able to hold a few short meetings during the latter part of the year to plan the
Christmas events.
The festive events continue to increase in numbers attending.
A big Increase in the number of young people supporting this event.

Advertisement of this event in local paper and Social media was an important talking point for
the residents.
Our senior residents have mentioned that they appreciate the communications between them
and the group members.
FINANCIAL REVIEW AT THE END OF THE YEAR
FINANCIAL POSITION AT THE END OF THE YEAR: The organisation remains in a strong financial
Position with a healthy balance and cash flow.
OUTSTANDING DEBTS OR LIABILITIES: There were no outstanding debts or liabilities.
RESERVES POLICY: The group ensures adequate funds are in place to continue operating on an
ongoing basis.
FUNDS IN MATERIAL DEFICIT & STEPS TAKEN TO MITIGATE: There were no funds in material deficit.
FINANCIAL MITIGATION: The Trustees ensure the organisation's finan￿$ were managed prudently
and on an ongoing basis.
FUNDS HELD BY THE CHARITI AS A CUSTODIAN TRUSTEE: None- Not applicable.
RESTRICTIONS ON WHO CAN 8ENEFIT
There are no restrictsons on who can benefit.
We do not charge any fees.
There are no charges to access any services.
There are small charges to access fundraisin8 events.
There are no restrictions based on personal characteristics.
PUBUC BENEFIT
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include . education,training,health and well being
outcomes, improved community relations and reduced levels of stress,anxiety and social
isolation,through the promotion of culture,arts, heritage and Ulster Scots language,music and
dance.recreation,education and trainin8.
These benefits are made known through the feedback from attendees at our events via evaluation
forms, sur4eys, verbal feedback and evaluation of activities.
There is no harm anticipated from this purpose.
The charity's beneficiaries are primarily the inhabitants of the Bush village and its surrounding
environs within our Council area.
Our own trustees receive information , se￿iceS and activities in the same way as other beneficiaries,
and are assigned support, infomation and services in the same way.
PRIVATE BENEFIT
There is no private benefit to any individual.
HARM
No harm has flowed from any of our Purposes.
SERIOUS INaDENT REPORTING
There are no serious incidents to report.
VULNERABLE BENEFICIARIES
Appropriate Policies, Procedures and Training are in place such as POCVA Policy and Procedures.
STATEMENT OF COMPUANCE
The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission Nl, Public
Benefit Guidance when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant.
