11 is stilt the aim of the group. through the provksion of eclucational and leisure
amivrties. to improve the qualrty of Ilfe of the residents 18 and over, of
CarrFckniore aTKI surrounding areas, wirhoul distin￿lOn of Sex, race. political,
reli9iouS. or other oplnlon. by associating the statutory auihorltles. and voluntary
organisations.
The inforrnaiion below sets the activities we have carried out lo fulfil the FXJbliC
bÈnÉfft over this past 12 rnonths.
Our group has corrtinued to offer 2 classes. Tuesdays and Thursdays. thTc>ughout
Auttjmn Winter and Spring letrns. wrth no classes belng held over surnmer
months. Tuesdays cfjnt4.nue wrth a intotmal setting where rnernbeTS can be socia5,
share their skills; and inlorm8tbn. sewin9. knStting ètc support each other and
enjoy a few relaxing hours_
Thurs(lay, paintlng classes with acrylics have been a comblnation of self a￿d tutor
led, with 3 sets of 415 elasses being tutor led. this has mostly been due to,
making the be￿ use of the limited funds Ihat we had.
Achievernents
This year has seen rnore old rnernber8 r￿U[n and mernbei nurnbeis rdurn to pre-
covld attendance as peopfe galn 1heir corrfldence back. We a150 h3ve a few new
rhèrnbèfs. Older members continue to share and learn new skills, sharing
patterns, some members growing mre cOnf￿ent in their abllrty to share and
teach other new mefriber6 the 8kn-L18 they havé ￿arned. Members have ¢orrtinued
to pitsduce lovety ttems. knti and crochet baby blankets. cardigans and oihei
cloihing, A S￿ of vegtments were completed by members the group for the
Mfsslons.
A few optk)nal projects were carried out throughoth the year. makin9 eushions,
patchwork quilts and bags for shopping. repalring and repurt>06ing gld garments,
these $klll8 do benefrt Ihe ènvironment.
There was also a seasonal project of a beautsful Christrnas wall hanglng led by
ofte of our members.
P8intlDg cla55 member5 continues to leam new techniques in painting and
produce sorne beautrful finished pleces of art along wth growing friendships and
enjoylng a few streas fr¢e hours.

Thè friendships have helped our members eonfidence, in $0 rnany ways, many
attending other social functions in the communty they would have avoided in Ihe
pasl. 11 helps impTove wellbeing, happiness bn the home and comrnunny.
Our activities do not lead to any harm The only private benefrt arising frrTh our
purp08e8 IS that a trustee Ds18mily membet may pBrlieip2te in the same manner
as 811 other beneficiaries. thE is purely incldental and necessary so that the
benefit is available to all Inhabitants of Ihe afea.
Finances
A review of the Gttariiies. financial posltion confirms a successful year. The charity
had re¢eipis of £O.OQ and paymems of £2026.fj7 gtvifig a balance at en(f ol year
of £419.52.
