The following are the details of the Magheraveely Sunshine Club Charity No- -NIC103053. We aim to supply a comfortable Coach to take our Members out for a Meal once per Month for 9 months of the year in comfortable surroundings @an affordable price,Sometimes entertain them to a speaker on a subject of interest to them or some musical entertainment,if we are near a popular shopping centre our members enjoy some retail therapy. We also arrange a 4 day respite holiday to a suitable venue for those interested . Names of all Charity Trustees are as follows . Miss Margaret McCabe,Mr Geor8e Latimer,MrsJean Kavanagh,Mrs Charlotte Whiteman, Mrs Susan Atwell ,Mrs Violet Forster,Mrs Alice Latimer , Summary of activities-_Starting in April we took an average no of 50 members out for a meal which is an Increase on previous year5,we know by the feedback we get from our members that our work is very much appreciated,as for some who live in isolated areas it is the only opportunity they get to get out for a day amongst friends . We believe that we are providing a useful Service to members of the public in helping to alleviate a sense of isolation for a group of people who would sometimes feel left out of society.we have members over ninety years old who never miss an outing l ! We choose different venues through the year which generates income for businesses also the hire of transport generates income locally .
Report for Magheraveely Sunshine Club @ the end of November 2018- The Finances of the Club are in a healthy state as you will see by the Bank statement enclosed , due to good support from our Members over the year,also the management committee obtained quotations from different restaurants previou5 to bookings & considered value for money . I refer to the term from April 2017 to Dec 2017 as we have no activities in the Months of January,February & March 50 we have no Income or Expenditure in those months , I submit this as the report for the Magheraveely Sunshine Club.
