Improved ￿latIOnShipS between home and school - the benefits which flow from this purpose include
funding for additional resources ft)r the school and links built with the local comrnunity. This is
demonstrated through having an active PTA that works in partnership with the school and engages
parental support. Thls purpose does not lead to ham.
The benefit is for children at Fullerton House Preparatory school. The trustees (PTA committee
members) are a￿ayS parents of pupils at the school. and hence enjoy the benefits mentioned above
in the same way as all other beneficiaries. The trustees maintain that it is necessary to ensure these
benefits are provided to all beneficiaries on an incidental basis.
Objectlves and actlvltles
The main aim of the PTA is to maintain relationships befvrfeen home and school. The PTA proactively
works in partnership with the school and gamers parental support. As a ￿sU1( funding for additional
reSoUr￿S for the school is generated and links are strengthened with the local communty-
Largety. Fullerton House Preparatory School pupils are the beneficlarfes. The trustees and PTA
committee rnembers are parents of pupils at the school who by association share in the benefits that
that PTA works hard to provide.

OFFICERS, ANNUAL REPORT {¢onllnued)
YEAR ENDED 31 AUGUST 2022
Achl•vements and perfomiance
Activities of the PTA were once again curtailed by the hangover caused by the Covid-19
pandemlc. A number of events were held during school hours involving the children only. A
golf day and a summer festival also took place, where relatives and friends were able to tske
part.
Financlal revi
The PTA raised £8.181 in the year to 31st August 2022 (2021: £560). It is wssumed that the
income due to the PTA at the end of the 2021 year was paid as part of sums received from
the School Gateway throughout the year (£400).
£707 was spent by the PTA during the year on resources for the school. Other amounts spent
were in relation to entertainment and catering at the various events held throughout the year.
The net surplus for the year, taking into account amounts owed to and by the PTA at the year
end, amounted to £3.146 (2021: £420)
Plans for future perlods
The rnodus operandi of the PTA has not changed in recent years - those parents who are
Interested In getting involved will enthusiastically continue to raise money in eamest, with the
promise that those In charge of stewardship will put that money to good use for the benefit of
the pupils of Fullerton House. There is no immediate need or wish to change the way in which
money is raised - the events are held not only to ralse money, but to give the children their
place and ultimately some fun, and to facilitate friendships amongst the parents. So long as
this forrnula conts'nues to work, the PTA will doubtless continue in its current foryn.
