Glenmanu5 Residents A5SOCiatk>n is in Portrush on the North Antrim Coast. As our name
suggests we are a Te5ident'5 group who work for the benefit of residents. We work to
Improve the conditions of life for the said inhabrtants. Trnstee5 represent our area at
various meetlngs with the aim of making improvements to the estate for residents We have
also worked wlth the housing executive to improve the appearnnce of some parts of the
estate. Thls has resulted In a greater sense of pride in the area amon8 residents.

busines5e& Our income for the year was £ 968.co and we spènt thi5 in pursuit of our aims on a fund
day and the group's Sn5urnnce policy.

people. The newly de¥eloped football pitth has been a huge positive addltlon to the area al￿ the
hildren now reRularly use the th whlch benefits their thical arKI mentsl hèalt￿ the annual
cornmunityfun day provides an owortunity f<Ythe whole arEa. thouBh particularty the children to
engage In sports on the pitch. The togetheme55 that results is fantsmicfor the tru5tee5 to see and make5
the many meetlDR5 Worthwhile.
We have carrled out clean ups ￿th residents wh￿h again apart from the fart there was 3
lar8e amount of rubbish collected, residents have since been less likely to dispose of rubbish
in the area. To improve facilities in the tnterests of Social welfare for recreation or other
leisure time. Recent engagement with Coleraine Council ensured irnprovements to the play
area which 8ives chlldren and youn8 people a safe environment to play. Thls has also made
parents much more at ease to let their children out to play in an endosed space as well as
the obvious benefrts the thildren get in playing together with safe equipmenL
We hold monthly cornmittee meetings a5 well as an annual general meeting each year. We
attend relevant trainin8 to support our work such as child protectlon We organise an annual
community fun day We organise trips for residents to get away from the area for the day
We clrculate flyers to advertise of activitses. We attend numerous meeting5
with our Statutory partners to seek improvements to our area.
