Graeehill Prima School vfA Chai ersons Re ort 202212023 Firstly I am absolutely thrilled with the total amount raised of £10,275.89. The first fundraising event was our usual smartie challenge which raised £1599.76. As a committee we then started planning for the Christmas event of 'Santa comes to Gracehill,. This was a huge success given all the positive parental feedback and the kids seemed to all have a wonderful tim¢. We rdised £1108.60. Thanks again to all companies and businesses who kindly donated to our Christmas raffle, &8 a result we made an outstanding £4234.20. We also held a Christmas disco which is always a great way to expend some energy and raise money. Adam Watkins kindly agreed to DJ and we had our usual tuck shop avaijable. We raised £843.60. After feeling we missed a trick at previous nativties, we felt it a good idea to serve tea & coffee and chocolates at our Christmas Nativity performances. The provislons were all very kindly donated by Tesco and we greatly appreciated the support. We made £349.65. Thc My child's Christmas art project raised £248.81 and the King's Coronation tea towel design raised £190.63. Finally, we ended terni 3 with our annual Summer patyldisco. Again Adam Watson kindly agreed to DJ which the children throughly enjoyed. Many sin¢¢r¢ thanks to Adam once again. In total this event raised £1099.71. To date the PTA'S fundraising efforts have supported the purchase of a new fence for the P31P4 outdoor area, a new lawnmow¢r, 2 additional storage sheds and a mud kitchen. We aim to start playground markings and design in July which will make a huge difference to the outdoor playground space. Another project where funding can be utilised for is adding to the AR library and additional storagelshelving. Throughout the year we have continued to promote easy fundraising and this year w¢ raised £79.73 from such. Also this year the PTA took over promoting the uniforni stash shop and will continue to gain a small profit from uniforni sales. I would sincerely like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the PTA committee and volunteers, P3 teacher reprcsentatives and Mrs Rowe. Without their help and support none of these events would hav¢ ever reached organisation stage let alone taken part. A big thank you to Mr Boyd, Mrs Calderwood, Mrs Hunter and Barbara Andrews for all their assistance in the background. Their continued support is invaluable. I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as Chair and am thrilled with the events we held and the outstanding amount of money rdised.for our School and more importantly, our children. dith Mccann fdcehill PTA Chair 2022r2023
