It has been a good year with PTA funds showing a surplus of
£2885.34.
This year's most profitable events were-
Christmas fair- a community run event and the PTA made
profit of £270.00.
Movie Night- one of the children's favourite events, this
made a profit of £286.07
The ballot sold at nativity this year made an impressive
£251.
The Halloween disco made an impressive £237.
The school production gave a profit of £58.73 for the PTA
exclusive VIP seats.
Summer fair, our biggest event of the year made
£1219.39.
In terms of expenditure the highlights were-
£3000.00 towards school iPads
£263.20 for the P7 formal, a new event for our leaving
P7s. PTA purchased pizzas for the class and paid for the
entertainment by DJ Tommy.
Every year PTA plays a vital role for the school by raising funds
to help boost school finances and to bring the school
community together through various social events.
We begin this year with a healthy bank balance of £2885.34.
However, money must be set aside for PTA membership and
banking fees, admin costs and other commitments. It is vital,
that care is taken to ensure money Is spent wisely for this

coming year and a good bank balance continues to be
maintained. It is also worthwhile to note that many grants are
available for various school resources, and I feel that the PTA
should seek these out.
I commend this account to you and trust that this coming year
will be a further success.
