Constitution adopted on 29th August 2000 and is an association of 8 members. Trustees are appointed or reappointed annually at the AGM held within 13 months of the pre￿dIng AGM and not more than 18 months. Objectives and Actlvltles To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Gortin Village and surrounding areas without discrimination in a joint effort wrth other organisations to advance education, provide facilities in the interest of social welfare and other recreational activities. We have referred to the guidance contsined in the CharitEs Commission guidance on public benefit when reviewlng our aims and objectives in planning our future activities.

Owenkillew Community Development Association Trusteas Annual Report Year Ended 31" March 2024 Achlevement and Perfomiance Gortin Communty Centre continues to engage the local communty through hosting events, managing initiatives including Ulster in Bloom and village renewal, developing the communty garden area and seeking opportunities to maintain the standard of facilities and equipment with the support of various funders. The community association provKled a supporting role in fundraising for the proposed extension to the community centre. A number of haalth and wellbeing projects are ongoing including an Okler Peoples Progamme funded by The Community Foundation and TBUC summer camps. Reserves Policy The trustees have not set a reserves policy. Future Planning The Association plans to continue to provide the local community with its services and to buikj on relationships with its fijnding partners. The Association will continue to source all available funding to ensure the continuation of tts services. Continuing projeds included Summer C8mps.
