appointed or reappointed annually at the AGM held within 13 months of the preceding AGM
and not more than 18 months.
Objectives and Activities
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Gortin Village and surrounding areas without
discrimination in a joint effort with other organisations to advan￿ education, provide facilities
in the interest of social welfare and other recreational activities. We have referred to the
guidan￿ contained in the Charities Comm[ssic￿ guidance on Wblic benefit when reviewing
our aims and objeciives in p￿nIng our future activities.

Achievement and Perfomian¢e
Gortin Communty Centre o)ntinues to engage the local community through hosting events,
managing iniliatives induding Ulster in Bloom and village renewal, developing ihe community
garden area and seeking opportunities to maintain the standard of facilities and equipment
with the support of vari¢ws funders. The (z)mmunity association provided a SUPP¢)rting role in
fundraising for the proposed extension to the community centre. A number of health and
wellbeing projects are (￿going.
Reserves Policy
The trustees have not set a reserves ￿Alry
Future Planning
The Association plans to continue to provide the local community with its serVI￿S and to build
on relalionships with its fijnding partners. The Ass¢xiation will continue to source all available
funding to ensure the continuatton of its servI￿s. Continuing p￿leCtS included Summer
Camps, Volunteer Initiatives. CLEAR project. Communty Fridge.
