Dunnygarron Cultural Society was established
{a) to advance community development by providing resources, facilities, support and information
to community and voluntary groups and organisations and to encourage and assist such
organisations to achieve their aims
(b) to promote and preserve the heritage of local people in particular those who reside in the
Cullybackey area
(c) to promote cultural confidence and civic pride, bolster morale of the community and harness the
abilities of local people
(d) to facilitate the examination, exploration and appreciation by all, of history, heritage and culture
in an open and positive manner to encourage mutual understanding

Statement of Trustees
We confirm that the trustees of Dunnygarron Cultural Society have complied with their duty in
having regard to the Commission Public Benefit Reporting Guidance.

Pur
oses - the purposes were maintained by the provision of comfortable well-maintained facilities
to a variety of organisations and individuals.
Beneficiaries - the members of the society, Slimming world organisation, slimming world attendees,
private citizens, the Dunnygarron Orange Lodge and Cullybackey Fife & Drumming Club.
Attivities - Slimming world weekly meetings were attended by 50-70 members of the organi5ation
from the local and wider community for the purposes of monitoring weight loss.
Line dancing group held regular sessions attended by 10-15 people
The facilities were also used on a limited number of occasions by Cullybackey Fife and Drumming
Club where attendances were in the region of 10-15 people.
Dunnygarron Orange Lodge held 12 monthly meetings.
Harm- no harm was realised during the reporting period
Private benefit- no private benefit was realised during the reporting period

liance - during the reporting period the charity trustees have ensured that
activities have helped to achieve the purposes of the society by providing a public benefit in
compliance with legislative requirements.
Statement of Liabilities and Assets
At 31 December 2024, Dunnygarron Cultural Society had no liabilities.
At 31 December 2024, Dunnygarron Cultural Society had assets as follows, £265.77 in Danske Bank
current account and no cash in hand
There was no overspend during the period of this report.
