(c) to promote cultural confidence and civic pride, bolster morale of the community and harness the
abilities of local people

Statement of Trustees
We confirm that the trustees of Dunnygarron Cultural Society have complied with their duty in
having regard to the Commission Public Benefit Reporting Guidance.

Pur
oses - the purposes were maintained by the provision of comfortable well-maintained facilities
to a variety of organisations and individuals.
Beneficiaries - the members of the society, Slimming world organisation, slimming world attendees,
private citizens, the Dunnygarron Orange Lodge and Cullybackey Fife & Drumming Club.
Activities - Following further relaxation of Covid 19 restrittions, slimming world weekly meetings
were attended by 50-70 members of the organisation from the local and wider community for the
purposes of monitoring weight loss.
A major restorative project was continued thanks to grant funding. This included re-plastering
buttresses and bands at the front of the premises, re-plastering parts of front boundary wall and
repairing the steps and walkway leading to the front door of the premises.
Water heater required replacement to provide hot water for users.
Legal services were engaged to futureproof the list of hall trustees.
The facilities were also used on a limited number of occasions by Cullybackey Fife and Drumming
Club where attendances were in the region of 10-15 people.
Dunnygarron Orange Lodge held 12 monthly meetings.
Harm- no harm was realised during the reporting period
Private benefit- no private benefit was realised during the reporting period

compliance with legislative requirements.

At 31 December 2023, Dunnygarron Cultural Society had assets as follows, £955.31 in Danske Bank
