This club was formed in 2002 and has been governed by a Constitution since February 2009. There have been no amendments since then.

The charity trustees consist of the members of the Management Committee and are elected by the members of the society. 

## Summary of purposes 

Cullybackey Fife and Drumming Club was established 

(a) to provide a local educational resource 

(b) to promote and preserve the heritage of local people, in particular those who reside in the Cullybackey area 

(c) to promote cultural confidence and civic pride, bolster morale of the community and harness the abilities of local people 

(d) to facilitate the examination, exploration and appreciation by all, of Fife and Drum history, heritage and culture in an open and positive manner to encourage mutual understanding 

## Period of report 

This report relates to the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 

## Summary of activities and achievements 

Club activities continued during 2025. The club continued to promote local heritage and culture by leading Dunnygarron LOL 960 during the annual Twelfth of July celebrations and harnessed the abilities of local people through continued tuition of its members in the musical traditions of fifing and drumming. 

## Statement of Trustees 

We confirm that the trustees of Cullybackey Fife and Drumming Club have complied with their duty in having regard to the Commission Public Benefit Reporting Guidance.

## Public Benefit Report 

Purposes — club activities resumed which included promoting cultural awareness in the local and wider community. 

Beneficiaries — the members of the club, Dunnygarron Orange Lodge and Dunnygarron Culltural Society. 

Activities — regular tuition sessions resumed in Dunnygarron Orange Hall. 

Harm — no harm was realised during the reporting period 

Private benefit — no private benefit was realised during the reporting period 

Statement of compliance — during the reporting period the charity trustees have ensured that wherever possible, a public benefit has been provided in compliance with legislative requirements. 

## Statement of Liabilities and Assets 

As at 31 December 2025, Cullybackey Fife and Drumming Club had no liabilities. 

As at 31 December 2025, Cullybackey Fife and Drumming Club had £538.05 in the Danske Bank account no 31266403". 

There was no overspend during the period of this report.
