**Purposes:** To advance the education of the public in the history, customs, culture and beliefs of the Protestant community in Belfast and in particular the Orange Institution by:  (1) organising, promoting and presenting educational, artistic and cultural activities, including festivals, performances of music, drama, dance and poetry, and film shows:  (2) assisting and facilitating local groups and others to participate in artistic and cultural activities.  Provide and assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit.  Promote all or any objects for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable.
