## **2023** 

Campsie Residents Association continue to operate on a voluntary basis to help improve the area of Campsie for its Residents. The Association met 8 times in the past 12 months and have maintained Governance and Finance appropriate to the organisation. 

The Association continues to operate and maintain “The Hub”, the community centre for Campsie Residents Association. The Hub has become a central part of the group’s activities and have welcomed new additions to the Hub operations. 

The association are pleased to now be the base for Aware Defeat Depression who operate a Drop-In centre 1 night per week. This has been a welcome addition to the area of Campsie and has been of great benefit to many people. 

The Hub is also home to the local Omagh Pride committee, who provide activities and events for local members of the LGBTQIA+ Community and meet in the Hub once per month. 

Extern are running an After-Schools club from 3:30-5:30pm each day for foster children. 

The Hub has also hosted a range of Training sessions within the centre, including CBT, Mindfulness, Meditation, Food hygiene and paediatric first-aid. 

The organisation work closely with Women’s Aid on Domestic Violence issues, including provision of mental health workshops and training on how to deal with domestic violence. 

The association has started a Dementia Café for people living with Dementia. This has been a great success. 

The Association continue to represent the people of Campsie at multiple partnerships and inter-agency meetings, including Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership, FOCUS, Omagh Independent Advice Services, Omagh Volunteer Centre and Beyond The Call project.
