## Activities

**Purposes:** The Association is established to:  To Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Garvagh district and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, education, recraetion or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.  Advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-Scots language and culture and to encourage understanding and acceptance of all indigenous cultures to the area of benefit.
