Objectives and Activities
Constitution
The Adams Charitable Trust 2014 was constituted by a Declaration of Trust dated 4 November 2014 for the purposes as set out below. The Trust is administered under the terms of that Declaration of Trust.
Purposes
- The support of education and the prevention or relief of poverty for the poor, homeless, socially excluded and needy anywhere worldwide. 2. To promote and support Christian missionary and outreach work, to spread the principles of the Christian faith and raise awareness of Christian teachings, beliefs and practices to the public anywhere worldwide.
Activities
The charity was constituted in November 2014 and its first income was in April 2015. The income in the period to 31 October 2025 arose from the rental of the residential property owned by the charity. No donations were received in this year. During the year donations totalling £9,060 were made to 4 charities, Crown Jesus Ministries, The Smiles Foundation, Elmwood Presbyterian Church and International Justice Ministry.
The main activities have therefore been to manage and let the residential property and from the rents received to make donations to other charitable organisations. We have continued to build a solid charity with an income generating asset which will provide a funding stream to enable us to achieve our purposes by supporting other charitable organisations.
Public benefit
The donations and grants made in the year were a major benefit to those beneficiaries in line with our purposes which has been achieved, by the continued growth of the financial strength of the charity and donations made for the charity’s purposes.
Private benefit
There was no private benefit received by anyone who is not an intended beneficiary of the charity.

Harm
We do not consider that any harm flowed from of the charity’s purposes in the year.
Commission’s guidance on public benefit
In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity’s purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries.
Financial Review
At the year end the charity was in a sound financial position as it owned a residential property from which it receives rent. It also had reserves of £3,602 represented by a bank balance of that amount.
The charity had no borrowings or other liabilities at the year end.
Trustees
The charity trustees who manage the charity during the year were Norman Adams, Elaine Adams, Steven Adams and Karen McGuire.
