Finnis Rural Development Association aims to work closely with this rural community by organising various social events for all age groups throughout the year.
The Trustees work closely with volunteers to organise events and carryout maintenance of the hall and surrounding car park. The Trustees really appreciate the assistance of the volunteers.
Utility bills totalled £216.53, Heating Oil was £390.00, Hall Rental £500.00 and £208.66 Bank Charges for the year.
The Annual Daffodil Tea and Quiz Night were very well supported by people who look forwarded to these events every year. Three Olde Tyme Dances were enjoyed by the older generation over the winter and spring months. The Group hosted a Christmas Party for the young people and their parents who attend weekly Scottish Dance Classes.
The Trustees meet for nine months of the year to discuss utility bills, grants, maintenance required and forthcoming events. This is a commitment by everyone involved who work well together as a team.
