Finnis Rural Develo ment Association Trustees Re ort 1st August, 2022- 31" July, 2023 The aim of this Group is to work closely with this rural community by organising events. The Trustees along with volunteers organise events and carryout the ongoing maintenance of tlie hall. The Trustees appreciate the as5i5tance of the volunteers. Utility bills were £735 and £64.28 bank charges for the year. Tho Group were successful in securing a "Kings Coronation Celebration Grant" of £1,4CX) from the National Lottery Community Fund. Two events were planned tliey were the Coronation Cliildrens Disco and Baibeque on 20.5.23 and the Coronation Tea Dance on 26.5.23, Both events were really successf ul and supported by all age groups. A grant was also obtained from the Ulster Scots Agency towards Energy Costs. The amount awarded was £206. An Annual Daffodil Tea, Quiz Night and two further Olde Tyme Dances were enjoyed over the past year. The Trustees normally meet once a month for nine month5 of the year.
