The main purpose of The Band is to promote Brass Band Music. To p￿serVe the existence and repertoire of Brass mu51C. To encourage people to develop their instrumental and musical skills and talents. Tc advance knO￿edge and promote Ulsler-scots heritage thfough brass band music. Membership to the band is open and inclusive in keeping with sectson 75. BENEFICIARIES The members of Bawn Silver Band all benefit from their membership of the band. They have all increased their knowledge of music and developed their individual instrumental and musical skills and talents. In addition to their foty plus rehearsals per year the band

carries out a wide range of perfOrman￿s.these range from street music festivals when several hundred people will be present. An annual community festival attracts approx two thousand people. The band performs an annual concert for approx two hundred and fifty people as well as at a number of old peoples residential homes. So it can be seen there are very significant beneficiaries in respect of Bawn Silver Band. ACTIVITIES As Staled above Bawn Silver Band is active the year round with foty plus weekly rehearsals. The band wll play lo at least a dozen live audiences during the year. One such example is an annual community festival ￿1¢h attracts up to ￿ thousand people. A number of street music festivals each attraciing several hundred spectators. The band is oflen called upon lo engage in many of the public ovic events in the commLEnity. The band also engages in al least one band concert per year and plays seasonal music in a number of old peoples residential homes. This is a typical years engagement for the band. Many of our events are annual. The band is required to continually leam new music for most of the various events bul particularfy for the band concert. They also engaged in private fund raising so as to pay for tuition expenses %thich are virtually two thousand pounds annually. ACHIEVEMENTS HOW MAIN BENEFICIARIES ACTIVITIES HAVE BENEFITED We as a management ¢ommiltee are satisfied we have the delivered the objectives to our benefiaanes. The band members themselves have developed their musical skills and ability to play brass band musical inslrumenls. Membership age ranges from seven years lo eighty five years. As staled above the band has 'played' lo a very wde ranging audien￿ consisting of hundreds of people who have all enjoyed our brass band music. of people a wide range. We acknowledge and appreaate the community support including finanaal support at our annual Bawn Silver Band concert. The committee at all limes have had regard for the Public Beneffit Guidan￿ as issued by the Charity Commission (Nl) In all decisions where the guidance was relevant. Finanaal position has been maintained in accordance ￿￿th guidelines as set out in our constitution.

FINANCIAL REVIEW AT END OF YEAR FINANCIAL POSITION AT END OF YEAR:Our treasurer is meticulous ensuring no improprieties. As can be seen we have a very limited cash flow and all monies received is ultimately for the benefit and continued existence of Bawn Silver Band. We have no outstanding debts or liabilities at the end of the financial year. RESTRICTIONS ON WHO CAN BENEFIT There are no restrictions on who can benefit. The band performs for cross community and cross border organisations. There are no restrictions to membership There are no restrictions based on personal characteristics. PUBLIC BENEFIT The direct benefits which flow from the acttvities of Bavm Silver Band extend lo a significant number of people in the Bawn and surrounding area.The band has conlribuled to improving the quality of lif8 for ils membership who are admilted in compliance wth section 75. Other Benefits induded .educational. and personal development through engaging and leading in all of the various band activities. PRIVATE BENEFIT There is no private benefit to any individual. HARM No harm has flowed from any of our Purposes. SERIOUS INCIDENT REPORTING There are no serious incidents to report. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission Nl's Public Benefit Guidance when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant.
