The main purpose of The Band is to promote Brass Band Music. To preserve the existence and repertoire of Brass music. To encourage people to develop their instrumental and mu&cal skills and talents. To advance knO￿edge and promote Ulslef-scots heritage through brass band music. Membership to the band is open and indusive in keeping wth se¢Xion 75. BENEFICIARIES The members of Bawn Silver Band all benefit from their membership of the band. They have all increased their knowledge of music and developed their individual instrumental and musical skills and talents. In addition to their foty plus rehearsals per year the band

carries out a wide range of performances.these range from street music festivals when several hundred people will be present. An annual community festival attracts approx two thousand people. The band performs an annual cOn￿rt for approx two hundred and fifty people as well as at a number of old peoples residential homes. So it can be seen there are very significant beneficiaries in respect of Bawn Silver Band. ACTIVITIES As staled above Ba￿ Silver Band is active the year round with forty plus v￿eklY rehearsals. The band w¢ll play lo at least a dozen live audien￿5 during the year. One such example is an annual community festival vthich attracts up lo thousand people. A number of street music festivals each attracting several hundred spectators. The band is ofien called upon to engage in many ofthe public ovic events in the community. The band also engages in al least one band concert per year and plays seasonal music in a number of old peoples residential homes. During the year the band successfully claimed a micfo grant enabling them to purchase thirty new chairs for their own use. They also engaged in private fund raising so as lo pay for tuits.on expenses are virtually two thousand pounds annually. ACHIEVEMENTS HOW MAIN BENEFICIARIES ACTIVITIES HAVE BENEFITED as a management committee are satisfied v* have the delivered the t)bjectives to our benefiaaries. The band members themselves have developed their musical skills and ability lo play brass band musical inslrumenls. Membership age ranges from seven years to eighty five years. As slated above the band has 'played' to a very wde ranging audience consisting of hundreds of people who have all enjoyed our brass band music. of people a V￿de range. We acknowledge and appreaate the community support induding finanoal support al annual Bawn Silver Band concert. The committee at all times have had regard for the Public Benefft Guidance as issu8d by the Charity Commission (Nl) in all decisions vthere the guidance VAS relevant. Finanaal position has been maintained in accofdance V¥ith guidelines as sel out in our constitution.

FINANCIAL REVIEW AT END OF YEAR FINANCIAL POSITION AT END OF YEAR.Our treasurer is meticulous ensuring no improprieties. As can be seen we have a very limited cash flow and all monies received is ultimately for the benefit and continued existence of Bawn Silver Band. We have no outstanding debts or liabilities at the end of the financial year. RESTRICTIONS ON WHO CAN BENEFIT There are no restrictions on who can benefit. The band performs for cross community and cross border organisations. There are no restrictions to membership There are no restrictions based on personal characteristics. PUBLIC BENEFIT The direct benefits which flow from the activities of Bawn Silver Band extend lo a significant number of people in the Bawn and surrounding a￿a.The band has contributed to improving the quality of life for its membership who are admitted in compliance wrlh section 75. Other Benefits induded educational. and personal development through engaging and leading in all of the various band activities. PRIVATE BENEFIT There is no private benefit to any individual. HARM No harm has flowed from any of our Purposes. SERIOUS INCIDENT REPORTING There are no serious incidents to report. VULNERABLE BENFICIARIES Appropriate Policies, Procedures and Training are in place such as Child Protection Policy and vulnerable adult awareness.

STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission Nl's Public Benefit Guidance when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant.
