The Shop is more accessible for all, especially for the increasing numbers of the Pilipino and their family, it is indeed getting busier at their individual work, as well as attending various social activities.** **Without any further ado, I will now hand over you to Rosa to hear more about events and activities reports from our busy year. Once again thank you for your help and support this past year and to your continued support this coming year ahead.** # Reading the minutes of Last, 7[th] AGM, to propose and approve. ## **AGM 2021-2022, minutes of last meeting, to propose/approval.** * Chairman’s Welcome/Introduction , John Galbraith. John welcome and thank everyone present at the meeting, invited Kevin Tracey the Secretary to read the minutes of last meeting. * Secretary’s Reading of Apologies & Minutes of last AGM. The Secretary read the minutes of the last AGM meeting and proposed approval by Patrick and seconded by John. - Managers’ report, Rosa, read the details of the events and activities for the year ended - and no question raised. - Trustee’s Income & Expenditures Financial Report, Patrick McCrystal Read by Patrick and no questions raised. - Trustees Management Team & Volunteers 2021-2022, Records Trustees, management team and volunteers was noted and recorded. * Independent Examiner’s Report, Geraldine McGuigan Independent reports read, by Patrick in behalf of Geraldine, our Independent Examiner to the Charity Commission of Northern Ireland. No question raised. * End of AGM, was concluded by 8pm. ## **Director’s report: Rosa Kelly, Shop & Community services, opening hours, 9.30-5.30pm.** 01/4/2022 to 31/3/2023 **EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES:** Brian Kelly is the manager from Monday-Friday, & ZOOM MEETINGS for far away members are provided. SATURDAYS MEET AND GREET, with tea/coffee provided at the back garden and to our office. April 2022,…meeting/get together welcoming the Pilipino Foyle Meat workers with PSNI Jonny Hamill & staff June & November – St Julian’s Fermanagh Omagh District Council Event, tree planting and the burial of the time capsule. June/July – visit & donations distributed to the Philippines, the beneficiaries. August – Bus trip to Glenveagh November – Welcome with FODC Chairman McElduff and November - Charity event Blind Date December – Christmas party at Ana/Jason Mullan’s residence at Sixmilescross PLUS relief donations to the Philippines January/Februay – WARM SPACE meet and Greet new friends March – International Women's Day – held at Goodwill Gifts charity shop office. Plus, a temporary housing for (for homeless) her family with husband, 7-months old and 5-year old daughter. Provided “a temporary home for her family” as a “Care taker” and for preparing the house/rooms clean for future Goodwill gifts volunteers who may come to visit Philippines for a good cause. - June 24, 2022 • Dolores Santiago, died due to un-able to go for treatment and very hospital strict restriction of covid. The lack of medicines and treatment, failed to prolong her life, her family received a small financial donations from Goodwill. • Geneal Salamat Santiago, caused of death – sudden stroke, while attending women's faith group meeting. In July 17, Goodwill donated a small amount for help buying medicines, and oxygen for 77 years old woman fighting for her life and unfortunately died on 19[th] July 2022. - Lorena Sampang, looking for - support/help - Feeding the Homeless boy ¥jIILI,' *' 4•4 ¥s Ij GOODWILL GIFrs DONATIONS this year Our local community services: January 2023 to March 2023 Meet and greet new people at our Goodwill office 10-weeks every Wednesday at 12-2pm Invitation from the Royal Family, King Charles at The Buckingham Palace, with Patrick, 1/2/23 Celebrating the March, International Womens’ Day with guests from PSNI Omagh - Goodwill Charity Shop and community support services: gifts - ESTABLISHED 2014 - Drop-in Centre for local people & Black Asian Minority Ethnic eg., Filipino. * Relaxing room for a chat, with Saturday Tea/coffee. * Social/educational events. - Transport to different activities by appointments, when needed. - Signposting to different agencies and professionals. - Volunteering opportunities, all ages. - Monthly Zoom meetings. - Private meeting room for different occasions. - Opportunity to visit the Philippines, for a good cause. - HELP Homeless local people and in the Philippines. * Support/networking relationship eg., to name a few FODC, PSNI, WMW, OECSG, ERANO, the Filipino community individuals/groups, etc., Find us on Facebook: Goodwill Gifts ## Any Other Business: Invitation and re-appointment of Committee/Trustees: Chairman Vice-Chairman Treasurer Secretary Asst.
