The Trustees pr&sent their annual rewt and financial Statements for the year ended 31 March 2024
The financial slalements have been prepared in accordance with the accountlng wlicies set out in note 1 to the fingncial
statements and com wth the charity's conslilution, the Charities Act (Northern Ireland} 2008 and "Accounting and
Rep￿ing by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in
aGcordance wilh the Finanaal Reporting Standard applicable in the Up and RepU￿1C of Ireland (FRS 1021" {as amended
for axounting periods commencing from 1 January 20161
Objectlves and activities
To promote the health and wellbeing of the Inhabltanls of the whole villege, lo prov7de ass18tance, advlce arKi to advance
educatlon lo all people in the village.
Our aim is to run yeady acti￿ties, i.e. fetes, classes, training and educational events.
The Twstees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what acliwties the charity
shoukl undertake.
Achlevements and perforniance
The group hdd a King'5 Festival which was open and attended by people of all backgrounds. We continually run classes
and courses throughout the year. Emphasis has been placed on tying to run events wsl covid that will allow people lo
come together and reduce the feeling of rural isolation.
Financial review
The charity secured fvnding from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Councll to the sum of £2,OW and £1237 from
Northem Ireland Housing Executive.
The charity also received fvnds from Groundwork & Crum
Structure, governance and management
The chgrity is a Registered charity, governed by the Constitution wth 8 day to day oversight by a rnanagemenl commtttee
of bcal individuals.
