## **DUNLEATH ORGAN SCHOLARSHIP TRUST** 

Annual Report on behalf of the Trustees in respect of the year ended 30 October 2024 

Information about the organ scholarship for 2024 was circulated widely in late 2023, mainly to organ tutors in Ireland, inviting applications from organ students under the age of 30 wishing to pursue their studies at a high level and benefit from the specialist teaching provided at one of the recognised summer academies for organists. 

An award was made in 2024 to a student who was accepted as an active participant at the _Corso Internazionale di Musica Antica_ , Urbino, July 2024.  Following his involvement in the organ week, the student submitted a report to the Trust expressing his appreciation for the financial support, enabling him to benefit from specialist tuition and discussion in masterclasses and the opportunities to play on historic instruments in Urbino and Bologna. 

It is gratifying that the Trust has been able to continue to provide support to young organists and contribute to their career development.
